ODOT Traffic Information - Akron-Canton Airport

For those of you who haven't traveled to our facility lately I wanted to give you a heads up on a new stop sign that will be going up on Wednesday the 15 of March. This temporary stop sign will be located on the ramps, both North and South, coming off Interstate 77 to Lauby Road and The Airport.

ODOT wants to prevent any backups on to the interstate when they build a crossover for the continued construction of the 3 lanes. This stop will give everyone equal access to continue to the interchange of Lauby Rd. and Airport. With Easter and spring break fast approaching we feel that it was a good preventative step to avoid any accidents. This fall when construction is completed the stop sign will be eliminated.
